A single-pad arena in Wilson Park that council kept open in 2019 and the Lancers now call home
Adie Knox Herman Recreation Complex sits within Wilson Park in Windsor's west end, with a single-pad arena and bleacher seating. In 2019 city council kept its ice rink and pool open despite a recommendation in the city's 20-year Recreation Master Plan to close them, and Windsor Minor Hockey considers the building its home.
The Windsor Lancers hockey teams, after years at the Capri Pizzeria Recreation Complex, moved into a newly renovated Adie Knox. The work brought new seating and lighting, new concession space and a redesigned arena configuration, individual seats in place of the old benches, and new dressing rooms for the Lancers men's and women's programs.
The complex is considerably closer to campus than the Lancers' old home rink, so students can walk to a game.
