Anne Arundel County's outdoor rink at Quiet Waters Park

Quiet Waters Park Ice Rink is an outdoor sheet in front of the Visitor Center at Anne Arundel County's Quiet Waters Park, which spreads over 340 acres between the South River and Harness Creek. The county runs the rink only during the winter months and kept it closed for the 2025-26 season, and plans to reopen it in November 2026.

Quiet Waters was a farm before it became a park. The Mary E. Parker Foundation owned the land until its trustees sold it to the county on October 30, 1987, and the Visitor Center that fronts the rink and the adjacent Blue Heron building were built in 1989. The county plans complete interior and exterior renovations of both.

The county describes the rink as a pleasant and safe family setting for skating outdoors, and offers lessons through the season for all levels.
