Newburyport's Graf Rink

The Henry Graf Jr. Memorial Rink is a Commonwealth of Massachusetts public rink owned by the Department of Conservation and Recreation. It has changed hands several times in recent years: in 2017 DCR finalized a permit agreement with the city and Shamrocks Rink Management of Wilmington, and months later the rink had seen numerous improvements despite a new hockey complex rising in Amesbury. FMC Ice Sports has operated it for DCR since 2022.

The rink is home ice for Newburyport and Triton high schools. Their hockey teams spend all winter as foes, but in 2012 they joined together for an e-waste fundraiser toward a project adding two new locker rooms at the rink. In 2009 the rink hosted a joyous free skate celebrating the Clippers' Division II state championship.

Newburyport Youth Hockey, Jr. Maples Youth Hockey and the Merrimack Valley Skating Club also skate here, along with the Little Bruins Academy, and the building has a heated conference room, a party room and a snack bar.
