A park district rink with 1,200 seats that reopened in March 2023 after a $6.8 million rebuild.
The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District built the H-F Ice Arena for $1.5 million on 4.6 acres deeded to it by the school district, with 54 contractors working around the clock to finish it.
In November 2021 the ice-making system failed, and the dated refrigeration system could not be repaired, shutting the arena down. The park district hired Williams Architects of Itasca to design a new rink and equipment building, and the $6.8 million renovation was complete by March 2023. The rink celebrated with a grand reopening on March 12, 2023, a ribbon-cutting that marked the return of a community rink shut for more than a year.
The main ice surface measures 200 by 85 feet, a smaller surface measures 90 by 40 feet, and the viewing area seats 1,200. The arena's hockey development classes are the path toward the district's NWHL Vikings teams.

The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District welcomes participation in all its programmes and activities by people with disabilities and special needs, and works with the South Suburban Special Recreation Association to support that. It asks for requests for reasonable accommodation at least two weeks before an activity where that is feasible, through its named ADA contact. Nothing is published about step-free entry, accessible washrooms or on-ice support at the arena itself.
