Hammond's one-sheet hockey and figure rink, home ice for Purdue Northwest, Bishop Noll and Munster hockey.
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
The Kube Sports Complex is a hockey rink and figure skating facility in Hammond, built around one NHL-sized sheet with bleachers, upstairs viewing areas and four public locker rooms. Upstairs, the Up 4 One Lounge has a bar and a balcony overlooking the ice, and the pro shop sells the rink's own Kube "Tomahawk" sticks and sharpens skates.
Hammond's hockey roots are old: the Hammond Mohawks were one of the Midwest's only amateur hockey teams as far back as the 1930s, and the youth Mohawks Hockey Club skates here today. So do the Purdue University Northwest hockey programs and the Bishop Noll and Munster high school teams; Bishop Noll beat Culver 3-1 in the 2017 1-A final.
The rink also runs Ice Age, an unstructured, unsupervised pickup game for players over 50. Ice Kube LLC runs the rink and Up 4 One LLC the lounge, both under Kube Sports Complex.
