Privately owned 150,000-square-foot complex in Richmond with two NHL-size sheets
No public skating is posted for the next 7 days. New sessions show here as soon as the rink posts them.
Deep South Ice and Sports Complex is a privately owned, 150,000-square-foot ice facility in Richmond, Texas, new for 2026. Its arrival brought junior hockey to the area: the North American Hockey League's Board of Governors approved relocating the North Iowa Bulls to the Houston metropolitan area for the 2026-27 season, and the Bulls play their home games at Deep South.
The building holds two NHL-size sheets: a main arena with 14 suites and two party decks, and a second NHL-size practice sheet, with volleyball courts under the same roof. The Houston Bulls are the complex's flagship team, and the club plans more than 30 nights of hockey and entertainment each season.
Away from the junior games, the ice carries public skating for all ages, Learn to Skate classes, freestyle sessions for figure skaters, youth and adult hockey and a Learn to Play program, and the events calendar includes ice skating shows.
