Overland Park's 420,000-square-foot sports park with an NHL rink, home of KU club hockey and the KC Icehawks.
AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk is a 420,000-square-foot indoor sports and entertainment complex in the 277-acre Bluhawk development at 159th Street and Highway 69 in Overland Park. Its first phase brought an NHL-regulation ice rink along with eight basketball courts, a 40,000-square-foot turf field and a sports performance training center.
In October 2025 Bluhawk announced a second ice rink, which the Kansas City hockey community welcomed as a major win, and phase two of the project is under way with that second sheet of ice and a mini-golf course.
The rink is home ice for the University of Kansas Ice Hockey Club, which competes in the ACHA, plays its home games here and has hosted Border Battle rivalry games against the Missouri Tigers. The Kansas City Icehawks, established in 2024, hold all their practices and home games here and have grown to nearly 300 players, and the Silver Blades Figure Skating Club of Kansas City is based at the rink.
