A 1990 rink inside the Grade II listed Palace, with the Haringey Huskies as its home hockey team
Loading public skate, freestyle, and stick & puck times for Alexandra Palace Ice Rink…
An ice rink was installed at Alexandra Palace in 1990, inside the Grade II listed Palace that opened in 1873 and was rebuilt after a fire two weeks later. It was built mainly for public skating, and the rink says its regular skaters range from age 3 to 90, from first-timers to national champions.
Ice hockey also uses the ice. The Harringay Racers, the Haringey Greyhounds and the London Racers have all been based here, and the Haringey Huskies are the home team now, with a 10th anniversary puck in their 2026/27 season-ticket pack. London Devils, Westminster Statesmen, London Rangers and the London Capitals women's team train and play at the rink, and the Alexandra Palace Amateur Ice Skating Club is its figure skating club.
Teaching is run in-house on the Skate UK levels 1 to 8 and a Children's Skating Academy, and the rink was voted the UK's number 1 ice rink in 2023.
