Skating in front of Battersea Power Station

Glide is set against the Grade II* listed Battersea Power Station and the River Thames. It has three interconnecting rinks and London's only riverside skate trail, 200 metres long, with a 30ft Christmas tree at its centrepiece.

The Power Station is one of the world's largest brick buildings, and notable for its original, Art Deco interior fittings and decor. Battersea A was decommissioned in 1975, its listed status was upgraded to Grade II* in 2007, and the main Power Station building was opened to the public in October 2022.

Around the ice there are vintage fairground rides, and Glide Unlimited season passes give unlimited access to weekday and weekend sessions. Kids, or big kids, can use the penguin skate aids to glide with confidence. The 2026 season is the rink's fifth.
