In the Pasadena Convention Center since 1976
The Pasadena Ice Skating Center has operated inside the Pasadena Convention Center since 1976. The original rink was built into a historic exhibition hall; the replacement facility opened in September 2011.
The 2011 building holds one NHL-regulation sheet, 200 by 85 feet, with four team rooms off the ice. It is the home rink of the Pasadena Maple Leafs Youth Hockey Association, the Pasadena Figure Skating Club and the Rose City Crystals synchronized skating teams, and the in-house adult hockey league fields more than 30 teams across four divisions.
Olympic figure skater Mirai Nagasu trained here before completing a triple axel in Olympic competition in 2018, and Shotaro Omori now coaches at the rink. Between club sessions the ice is regularly booked for broomball, school field trips, fundraisers and film, television and commercial shoots.

Admission, rentals and arrival details, researched from official rink information. Source checks stay current for 30 days.
Admission
Public session admission is $17 for all ages. The adults-only Lunch Bunch session is $21 including admission and skate rental. Pasadena residents and seniors get $2 off admission and Lunch Bunch rates with a valid California ID.
Skate rental is $5 on top of the $17 admission; it is bundled into the $21 Lunch Bunch price and into all group rates. Rental skaters get a stamp at the front desk on arrival.
Online ticket purchasing is not available - everyone checks in at the front desk on arrival to buy admission and rental, or to scan a Platinum Membership or Learn-to-Skate practice pass.
Assist walkers are free on a first-come basis from the skate desk, but only for beginner toddler skaters whose waist height is no more than 26 inches with skates on. Every session is monitored by rink staff and skaters must follow the guidelines posted at the rink.
On-site parking is $15 a day for up to 16 hours, one entry only with no in-and-out; the structure has a 6 ft 6 in height limit and vehicles over 18 feet pay double. Eight EV charging stations are available, and the rink validates for the lot on the southeast corner of Euclid and Green Street.
