A 2005 rink in Artesia that is home to the California Wave

East West Ice Palace in Artesia has been open since May 2005. Its full-size ice surface measures 85 by 200 feet, and the building adds a complete fitness center, a dance and exercise room, locker rooms, a snack bar and a pro shop. It sits within a few blocks of the 91 and 605 freeways, easily accessible from almost anywhere in Southern California.

It is the home ice of the California Wave Hockey Club, and the California Gold synchronized skating teams train here. The rink runs an active hockey program with classes for beginners, stick-time sessions for casual play and a busy adult league, and its Skating School lets beginners get a good start before moving to individual lessons with a figure skating coach.

The Skating School marks the holidays with events like a Halloween class on Friday, October 30, 2026, where skaters come in costume.
