Dale City's NHL- and Olympic-size rinks, home of George Mason hockey and Potomac Speed Skating.
Prince William Ice Center is owned and operated by Innovative Sports Management. Guests of all ages skate at its daily public sessions on both an NHL-size and an Olympic-size surface, with over 1,000 pairs of professionally maintained hockey and figure skates to rent, and skate mates for new skaters who need a little extra help on the rink.
Its group lessons follow the Learn to Skate USA curriculum, which the center describes as a beginning program serving recreational hockey players and competitive skaters, and a recognized feeder program for all USA Hockey youth hockey programs.
It is home to Virginia Ice Theatre, the Potomac Speed Skating Club, George Mason men's hockey, the National Blades, Grose Hockey Skills and Top Tier Performance, and it hosts its annual Blades of Spring Compete USA competition each April.
