Public skating at Reston Town Center Pavilion Ice Rink: the next 7 days
Currently out of season The Reston Town Center skating page says the Ice Skating Pavilion is closed for the season and will reopen November 6, 2026 through March 14, 2027, weather permitting. The page has a ticket button but prints no hours or prices yet. Official schedule update
The Reston Town Center Pavilion is an open-air glass pavilion that was added to the town center in 1993. It serves as a covered open-air ice rink in winter and as a concert and event venue for the rest of the year.
The rink is a winter tradition that runs from November through March. The 2025-26 season was closed out with Skate N' Glow on March 7, 2026, an evening with a live DJ, disco lights and glow giveaways. The Pavilion also takes private event bookings.
When the ice is out, the Pavilion hosts free outdoor events. It has been turned into a pop-up dog park on Wednesday evenings in May and September, and lululemon runs a free fitness class series there in spring and summer.
