Bucks County Ice Sports Center opened in 1973 in Warminster, Pennsylvania. The building is a 30,000-square-foot arena built around one NHL-sized ice rink. It is owned today by Black Bear Sports Group, Inc., a Chevy Chase, Maryland company that operates sports and entertainment facilities and youth sports events.
The rink is paired with Revolution Ice Gardens, and the two arenas share their home programs: the Tier I Philadelphia Revolution Elite, the Tier II Royals Ice Hockey and Royals Girls Hockey programs, and the Colonial Skating Club of Pennsylvania. Four high school teams play out of the pair as well: Council Rock South, Council Rock North, William Tennent and Central Bucks East. The Philadelphia Resistance and Hawks Women's Hockey also call the arenas home. The building was also the first home arena of a Special Hockey International team.
