Opened in 1996 in Bristol Borough, with a second rink added in 1998
Grundy Arena in Bristol, Pennsylvania opened in 1996 and gained an additional rink in 1998. The Grundy Foundation donated toward building the rink and supporting some of its operations, and the building houses two NHL-sized sheets today.
Bristol Borough owned the arena and ran it through the Bristol Borough Recreational Authority. In 2020 the borough agreed to sell it to Black Bear Sports Group, which owns the 75,500-square-foot building now.
Pennsbury, Neshaminy and Harry S. Truman high schools use the rink as home ice, and the Philadelphia Blazers also call it home. Pennsbury's annual Lois Daly Fight Against Cancer Memorial Cup packs the arena for games, and in the off season the second ice surface is removed to make room for boxing matches and banquets.
