Bryn Athyn College's open-air pavilion rink, home ice of the Lions and the ANC school teams since 1995.
Currently out of season The open-air pavilion has ice in the winter season; the open skates on its calendar start in early December. Official schedule update
The James F. Jungé Pavilion is Bryn Athyn College's open-air rink, with ice in winter and a covered turf arena the rest of the year. It opened on December 3, 1995 as the ANC Pavilion, replacing a series of outdoor rinks the college hockey team had used on the same spot, and was later renamed for a long-time board member and donor.
Its open sides make it unusual in college hockey, with winter air blowing across the ice, and visiting players are often seen wearing winter hats under their helmets. Each winter the Bryn Athyn Lions, whose program dates to 1967 and is the college's longest-running sport, move their home games here from an indoor rink, in front of a student section described as loud and packed.
The rink is also home ice for the Academy of the New Church Secondary Schools hockey teams, Bryn Athyn Youth Hockey and adult recreational teams, including a men's 3v3 winter league.
