The Flyers' practice rink, now with a third sheet
The Flyers Training Center was built in 2000 as the official practice facility of the Philadelphia Flyers, and its two NHL-size rinks are shared between team practices and camps and the public's programs and local teams. Both sheets were renovated in 2024-25 with new refrigeration, LED scoreboards and sound systems.
A third, smaller rink of 170 by 70 feet, the '67 Arena, is named as a reminder of the Flyers' impact on hockey and on Philadelphia, and its artwork pays tribute to the franchise's history and legendary players. It hosts learn to skate and learn to play, public skating and adult league games.
The center is home to the Gladiators Hockey Club, the Philadelphia Liberties, Flyers Youth and the Voorhees Mighty Mites, runs the Ultimate Adult Hockey League and middle school and high school leagues, and hosts the Liberties Invitational tournament. Upstairs, a renovated conference room and party rooms for up to 30 guests serve teams and families.
