Former home of the Indiana Ice Miners
S&T Bank Arena is the 1,000-seat multi-purpose arena at the White Township Recreation Complex in Indiana, Pennsylvania. It holds one full-sized rink, used for both skating and hockey, and it is the ice half of a township complex that also includes the ADA-accessible Eagles Rest Pavilion.
The arena's professional years came with the Indiana Ice Miners of the Mid-Atlantic Hockey League, a team announced for Indiana in 2007 by league president Andrew Haines. Over the course of their season the Ice Miners recorded a 26-game winning streak, a professional hockey record, and they were named league champions with a 31-1-0 record, 18 games before the season was scheduled to end.
Today the ice belongs to college and community hockey. Current tenants are the men's and women's ACHA teams of the IUP Crimson Hawks, Indiana Area High School, the Indiana Youth Hockey Association and recreation leagues. The arena was temporarily closed in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic.
