The former Kendall Ice Arena, with two NHL-size rinks and more than two decades in Miami skating.
Miami Ice Arena spent more than two decades as Kendall Ice Arena, a mainstay of Miami's skating community, before taking its current name with a fresh vision for the rink.
It is the only ice complex in Miami-Dade County, with two NHL-size rinks measuring 200 by 85 feet each.
The arena on Hammocks Boulevard is home to the Miami Golden Wolves, part of a travel hockey program that also trains at Pines Ice Arena and counts the first Florida team to win a national championship title. The University of Miami Hurricanes club hockey team has played its home games here, and figure skater Hristina Vassileva began training at the rink with coach Kent Johnson in 2016 and also coaches there.
