The Florida Panthers have owned and operated the IceDen in Coral Springs since 1997, when they bought what was then a two-sheet facility called IncredibleICE. It has since grown to three sheets, and with hockey interest surging in South Florida in 2024 the building still ran Learn to Skate alongside youth and beer-league hockey.
In November 2024 the IceDen became the new home of the Florida Alliance 16U and 18U teams, which moved into the Panthers' former locker room and gym area and changed their colors and jerseys to match what the Panthers wear. The rink's own Florida Junior Panthers travel teams, ages seven to 16 in A and AA divisions, play from August to March with tryouts each May, and the Florida Panthers Development League runs beneath them as a learning league. As of February 2026 the IceDen is also home to the Panthers Figure Skating Club, a nonprofit U.S. Figure Skating member club, and to Team USA skater Andrew Torgashev.
The building was chosen in November 2024 to host the Girls' Tier II 14-Under USA Hockey National Championships from April 2 to 6, 2025. Its hockey calendar, shared with the Baptist Health IcePlex, runs from Learn to Play and a Hockey Academy to girls-only, adult and adaptive hockey.
