Newton Arena is on 136B Street, with bench seating for 150 spectators, four dressing rooms, a meeting room and two multipurpose rooms. Its skate shop offers skate and helmet rentals. The facility has 122 parking stalls, including two accessible spaces, with a paved concrete approach.
The fall timetable lists public Value skating on Mondays at midday and in the early evening, plus Sunday afternoons. Wednesday’s adult skate is for ages 19 and over. Monday morning parent participation is for children ages five and under with an adult on the ice; it shares ice with skating lessons.
The ground level is wheelchair accessible and the arena provides accessible and universal washrooms. A baby change table is in the women’s lobby washroom. Public skating does not need advance registration, but visitors need a free Surrey Recreation Passcard. Children 12 and under must wear a helmet.

Standard single visit: adults 19–59 CA$8; children and youth CA$4; students and seniors 60–69 CA$6; seniors 70+ CA$2.50. Family admission is CA$4 per person, with at least one adult and one child age 18 or under. Specialty hockey and figure skating have separate rates. Public skating does not require advance sign-up. Specialty arena drop-ins open for registration 72 hours ahead. All visitors need a free Surrey Recreation Passcard. Check the dated schedule for cancellations.
