Terry Fox's hometown community centre

The Port Coquitlam Community Centre is a bright, modern, 205,000-square-foot community hub with three arenas, a gymnasium, a leisure pool and a fitness centre. It opened in 2019 and is certified Gold by the Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certification Program; the players' bench in Arena 3 has clear boards at the bottom so sledge hockey players can watch the game.

The main rink, Jon Baillie Arena, seats 753 spectators with room for 200 more standing, and its digital scoreboards can show team logos, video and music. It is home ice for the Port Coquitlam Trailblazers junior team, whose purple, gold and white colours harken back to the Port Coquitlam Minor Hockey Association, founded in 1974.

The team's name honours residents including the late Terry Fox, who grew up in Port Coquitlam. The centre houses the Terry Fox Library, and a flat 210-metre accessible walking path runs through Terry Fox Hometown Square outside.
