Coquitlam's 190,000 square foot Poirier complex

The Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex is a 190,000 square foot ice and fitness facility in Coquitlam. It is often referred to as the Palace on Poirier, or the Pond on Poirier, depending on the season. The building has three ice arenas, three pool options, a fitness gym and a walking track.

The Coquitlam Express calls the complex home. The arena side is used by a wide variety of groups including hockey, lacrosse and ringette teams and figure skaters, and it hosts national tournaments. All three arenas can be converted for both ice and dry floor use.

The third ice sheet formerly housed a curling rink, and new dressing rooms were built for it. The Coquitlam Sports Hall of Fame is in the lobby, with several exhibits on display.
