San Francisco's year-round indoor rink and bowling center, run by the Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy.
Yerba Buena Ice Skating & Bowling Center puts two attractions under one roof in downtown San Francisco: a full-size indoor ice rink and a 12-lane bowling center. The NHL-sized rink looks out over Yerba Buena Gardens through a three-story wall of glass, and the center is open year-round, rain or shine.
The Gardens are owned by the City and County of San Francisco and managed by the Yerba Buena Gardens Conservancy, which runs the rink. Its calendar lists public skating most afternoons, a Monday evening CheapSkate with free rental, freestyle practice, adult stick and puck and pick-up hockey.
Other sessions cover sensory-friendly skating, an adult coffee club, Skater Tots for little ones and a full-service pro shop, so there is something for first-time skaters, families, figure skaters and hockey players alike.
