A 1979 arena with two ice surfaces and a six-sheet curling rink, used by the AJHL's Olds Grizzlys.
The Olds Sportsplex was built in 1979, and its last major renovation came in 2010. The 114,625-square-foot building holds an arena with two ice surfaces and a six-sheet curling facility. The main sheet measures 200 by 85 feet and the auxiliary sheet 180 by 85 feet.
The Town of Olds has been home to the Alberta Junior Hockey League's Olds Grizzlys since the 1980-81 season, and the Grizzlys won the 1994 Centennial Cup as Canada's Junior A champions on home ice. The Sportsplex is also home to the Olds College Broncos women's hockey team of the Alberta Colleges Athletics Conference. The Grizzlys, the Broncos, the curling club, minor hockey, the figure skating club and lacrosse are its six main user groups.
In 2024 the Town hired experts to study the building's condition and plan its future. Games on both sheets are streamed through LiveBarn.
