Danbury's 3,000-seat twin-sheet arena, opened in 2000 and home of the Hat Tricks and Jr. Hat Tricks.
Danbury Ice Arena opened in September 2000 as a twin-sheet rink. It was renovated and expanded in 2004 and renovated again in 2019, and today it covers 93,000 square feet with seating for about 3,000.
The arena was home to the Danbury Trashers of the United Hockey League from 2004 to 2006. After an owner of 18 years sold it to Diamond Properties, three new tenants arrived for the 2019–20 season, including the Connecticut Whale of the Premier Hockey Federation and the Danbury Colonials junior team.
Today it is home to three hockey teams: the Danbury Hat Tricks of the FPHL, the Jr. Hat Tricks of the NAHL and the Jr. Hat Tricks of the NA3HL. The Danbury Speed Skating Club, home to many national-level competitors, also trains on its ice.
