A regulation NHL-size sheet in The Parks Mall since 2002.
ICE at The Parks is Arlington's only full-sized ice skating rink. It opened in November 2002, and the ice surface is a full-size, regulation NHL hockey rink, a place to take a break and join in some fun on the ice.
It is run as a community rink for public skating, hockey, parties and lessons: the site invites skaters to bring friends, play hockey, hold a skating party or learn to skate from its instructors, and skaters can enter figure skating competitions or one of the annual seasonal shows.
Hockey is part of the year too, with open and lesson stick and puck sessions, camps and clinics for all ages. Figure skaters have freestyle sessions most mornings and some evenings, and the rink suggests warm clothes, including long socks and gloves.
