Home of the Brahmas
NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills was designed by architect Kent Holcomb and built in 1999 as the Blue Line Ice Complex, then renamed in June 2006. It seats 2,400 and is owned by NYTEX Sports, a management firm based in New York City and Texas.
It is home to the Lone Star Brahmas of the North American Hockey League and the Texas Jr. Brahmas of the North American 3 Hockey League, and it holds the most ice hockey national championships of any arena in Texas, with five, including the Brahmas' titles in 2017 and 2024 and the Texas Tornado's in 2001.
The arena also hosts events beyond hockey, including Major League Wrestling shows such as War Chamber 2019 and Kings of Colosseum 2026, and on June 22, 2019, the Blader Bash, one of the largest Beyblade tournaments ever organized.
