Opened in 2000 at the Texas Star sports complex; the city's Dallas Stars agreement now runs to 2040.
Children's Health StarCenter Euless opened in 2000 inside the City of Euless parks system at the Texas Star sports complex. By 2009 the Dallas Stars were running six StarCenters across the Metroplex under one umbrella operation, and Euless was one of three rinks, with Addison and Plano, that players from elsewhere in the region drove an hour to reach for ice hockey.
Junior hockey had a run here. The Dallas Jr. Stars were established in 2013, entering their league to form a South Division alongside the Topeka Capitals and Sugar Land Imperials, and as the Mid-Cities Jr. Stars the team played its home games at the Euless StarCenter. The team folded and ceased operations before the 2024–25 season. High school hockey continues: L.D. Bell's ice hockey team plays at area rinks including the StarCenters in Euless, Grapevine and Coppell.
The building's next phase was set in June 2025, when Euless and the Dallas Stars extended their partnership to 2040 at the June 10 City Council meeting. The extension comes with a new ice plant and a complete HVAC overhaul for the rink itself, and the restrooms and lobby are slated for an update.
