Frisco's 2003 arena, rebuilt to 6,000 seats in 2009, housing the Stars' practice rink and a community rink.
Comerica Center opened in Frisco in 2003 with a 3,500-seat main venue and was known as Deja Blue Arena through 2008. Dr Pepper Snapple Group held naming rights until 2019, and Comerica Bank took them over on January 18, 2019.
In 2008 the arena closed for a $39 million renovation, completed in June 2009, that raised capacity to 6,000 seats and added 12 luxury suites and a VIP club. The building now combines the Dallas Stars' practice facility and executive offices with a community ice rink and the multipurpose arena.
The Texas Tornado of the North American Hockey League played here from 2003 until 2013, when the team was sold and moved to North Richland Hills, and the arena hosted the 2012 Robertson Cup tournament that the Tornado won. The Texas Legends of the NBA G League and the Frisco Fighters of the Indoor Football League also call it home, and the ECHL's Allen Americans are scheduled to host games here during the 2026-27 season.
