A double rink with a 300 m² beginners' track

La Cartonnerie in Dammarie-les-Lys is a double-rink venue: a sporty track and a 300 m² "ludique" track meant for children and beginners. A handrail and a circular bench run around the ludique track so first-timers can learn gently, and an ambiance bar sits next to a real fireplace. The rink is run by VM 77190, the public-service delegate of the local authority.

The programme leans on themed evenings with a DJ and light effects. The 2026/27 season's list includes a rap night, a foam night, a Halloween night with costumes and horror-film music, and a winter night where skaters glide under snow. Ice races give the winner a free entry, and the Jardin de glace is held every Sunday morning.

The season opens with an opening night in September and ends with a last public session in June. The rink stays open on bank holidays such as All Saints' Day, and a competition closes it for a day in November.
