The Tampa Bay Lightning's practice rinks

TGH Ice Plex, on Elizabeth Place off Falkenburg Road at the Brandon edge of Tampa, is the official practice facility of the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning. It opened in the fall of 1997 as the Ice Sports Forum, with two NHL regulation rinks and a laser tag arena, and took its present name in 2020, when Tampa General Hospital became the naming rights partner.

In 2017 Lightning owner and chairman Jeff Vinik committed $6 million to an 18,000-square-foot addition with new team locker rooms and training facilities, and the team signed a 10-year lease running through the 2026–27 season. Beyond the Lightning, the twin rinks are open to the public and home to recreational and travel hockey leagues and figure skating. The building runs one of the largest adult hockey programs in the country, and its No Bull adult team won the USA Hockey Adult 30+ national championship in 2001.

The rinks host games and practices for the Lightning High School Hockey League and are home ice for the USF Ice Bulls, an ACHA Division III club. Its skating school is sanctioned by the Ice Sports Industry, and its skaters won the ISI Spring Classic for the most team points.
