Mankato's two-rink arena, rebuilt for a new era

All Seasons Arena in Mankato was built in 1973, and a second sheet of ice was added in 1998, making it a 34,000-square-foot, two-rink facility. Minnesota State men's hockey played its intercollegiate games here until 1995, when the team moved to the newly opened Mankato Civic Center, and the arena was also the former home of the Mavericks women's team.

Today it is home to the Mankato Figure Skating Club and the Mankato Area Hockey Association, the South Rink hosts local high school games, and the Minnesota State men still practice here.

A $14 million renovation began in May 2024, backed by the City of Mankato, Eagle Lake, North Mankato, Mankato Area Public Schools and local hockey associations. It reshapes the notoriously cramped entrance and lobby, reduces the North Rink to NHL dimensions to make room for a spectator mezzanine seating 450, and adds a warm viewing area over the ice, with Phase 2 construction to follow Phase 1.

Accessibility

The 2024-25 renovation added upgraded accessible restrooms and an inclusive restroom with an adult changing table, opened up the stairs and elevator lobby to improve circulation between the two rinks, and improved spectator flow and accessibility at the North Rink. Public restrooms and the concession stand now sit on the upper level, reached by that elevator.
