Currently out of season The City's last program guide said the rink opens in mid-October, weather permitting; this season's opening date has not been posted yet. Official schedule update
Ebersole Ice Rink is the City of White Plains' rink in Delfino Park, and city officials count it among their most popular and heavily used community facilities. It is the home rink of the White Plains High School Tigers, the Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders and the White Plains Plainsmen youth program, which also holds tournament games here.
In January 2022 Mayor Tom Roach and HSS Westchester unveiled a new 12-by-8-foot scoreboard with 18-inch red LED digits, paid for by a donation from HSS; the old board had lasted more than 20 years. It went straight into use for a White Plains High School game, a 3-2 win over North Rockland.
Along with public sessions, the City runs figure skating lessons and a learn-to-skate program that follows the Ice Skating Institute curriculum, and a party room off the ice holds groups of up to thirty guests.
