Developed jointly by Park City Municipal and the Snyderville Basin recreation district

Park City Ice Arena was developed through a collaboration between Park City Municipal and the Snyderville Basin Special Recreation District, and residents of both jurisdictions still get priority registration for its programs. The building is an indoor, year-round facility with a single Olympic-size ice sheet.

That one sheet carries the whole program: open skate sessions, private lessons, group outings, corporate outings and children's camps run through the year. The arena is the home rink of the Park City Pioneers, the USA Hockey Senior Elite team, and of multiple Mountain West Hockey League champions. Six local clubs also skate here: Ice Miner's Youth Hockey, the Figure Skating Club of Park City, the Park City Speedskating Club, the Park City Silver Queens, Utah High School Hockey and the National Ability Center.

Booking & check-in

Patrons must register and pay for an activity before taking the ice, and everyone has to check in at the front desk before their session - including people who registered online. A facility waiver is required and is signed electronically, with an English and a Spanish version linked from the arena page. Registration goes through the city's Dash/DaySmart portal.
