Pittsburgh's Schenley Park rink since 1975

Schenley Park Skating Rink opened in 1975 in Pittsburgh's Schenley Park, and for a generation it has entertained ice skaters, roller skaters and hockey players alike. It is a City of Pittsburgh rink, and CitiParks puts on its special events.

The rink is no longer only an ice rink. When the ice season ends, the skating carries on all summer on the court, which switches over to public roller-skating sessions, so the building is in use for skaters across the year. The rink also has a Banquet Hall that holds up to 99 guests.

Throughout the ice season, CitiParks puts on special events and theme nights at the rink. They include Valentines on Ice, an annual evening skate in February, and Mascot Madness, a January afternoon when mascots take over the ice.
